A website is essential for any modern author to promote work and expand his or her fan base, but many emerging writers find the task of putting together a website daunting. This hands-on workshop will give you the tools you need to plan, write and build your writer’s website. You do not need to be a computer genius to promote your work and present yourself online as a professional. This workshop is led by writing coach Lori DeBoer (www.lorideboer.net), who has done web marketing and account management for Evergreen Internet and its clients, including Mapquest, Mystic Color Lab, the Association of Business Product Manufacturers and Consumer’s Digest. We’ll learn some basics about web marketing and design, and look at some other writing websites for inspiration.
This is a members-only event; to register for the event, go to www.groupspaces.com/boulderwritersworkshop
