Lori DeBoer is a freelance writer, writing coach, and independent writing teacher, as well as founder of the Boulder Writer’s Workshop. DeBoer is a contributing editor to Short Story Writer. More than a thousand of her essays and articles have been published in magazines, literary journals, and newspapers, including The New York Times, The Bellevue Literary Review, Arizona Highways, Pithead Chapel, Working Woman, Gloom Cupboard, PHOENIX Magazine and more. Kelly M. Welsh is a fiction writer and poet. She has a B.A. in creative writing and her secondary education teaching licensure from the University of Colorado. She has taught literature and creative writing classes for high school students and works with all ages of talented and gifted students to help build leadership skills.

Kelly has been published in Eunoia Review, Expedition Underground and the poetry anthology Forever Spoken. She is working on her debut YA novel The Kamen District. She has a love for the bizarre and the fantastical, as well as anything that makes her cringe.
